The Citizens for the Preservation of Waterman Lake is a non-profit organization consisting of residents living on the shores of Waterman Lake and interested members of the surrounding communities. Each year hundreds of residents and visitors enjoy the Lake for a wide range of recreational activities including boating, fishing, swimming, amphibious plane landings, golfing, dining and more. CPWL membership is open to residents of Glocester and Smithfield, Rhode Island who are interested in the preservation and conservation of Waterman Lake. The success of CPWL depends upon the financial support and personal involvement of each and every member. Financial contributions are critical for timely maintenance of the earthen dam, the spillways, the gatehouse, and other such aspects that create the pristine lake environment that is enjoyed by all. Annual membership dues of $135.00 are due by June 30th.
